Throw in a Marlboro Syclone, and that'd be S-truck heaven.

How I wish 3-door SUVs and CUVs, especially full-time AWD sporty, powerful ones, were still a thing.
The 21st-century Nomad.
Why can't we even have ONE good one? Evoque Coupe is too little, too expensive. Mini Paceman is so under-equipped and over-priced that it shouldn't even count.
So much potential... completely un-explored.

A 3 door GLA, Juke, or CX3 would be good.

I was hoping for a 3-door Porsche Macan, but a GLA would be interesting.
Juke needs to die, for the sake of not poisoning any more people's sense of what constitutes good design.
However, I would be all in favor of a 3-door CUV version of the Sway design with a bit more ride height, and a bit larger wheel wells and wheel/tire diameter. A smaller, 3-door coupe alternative to the new Nissan Murano design.
With Juke's Turbo engine, manual gearbox, and torque-vectoring AWD... maybe an optional V6... and if not a manual gearbox, at least a dual-clutch or something sportier than a CVT...
That, with a roofline at least as slick as the Sway concept, if not slightly lower, with longer single coupe doors... It could be good.
Subaru could do an XV Turbo Coupe, too, with a sleeker body, and WRX or STI drivetrain...

I actually like the Juke's styling, it's grown on me.

It still infuriates me. The whole visual design.
The tech underneath may be fine, and the premise of a compact turbo AWD CUV may hold some promise, but it looks horrible.
The grille with headlights that should be fog/driving lights, the frog-eye marker lights squished out from under the hood, the bulbous front end and fender flares, but the oddly-tapered rectilinear windows, the windshield looking like it is too small, and belonging on a different vehicle, the back-tapered roofline, the oddy truncated tail... not to mention that the doors are tiny, and I probably couldn't fit in the thing, being 6'2"... even though I do drive a Miata. The car isn't long enough to sit low enough under the roof... so the seat has to be higher, and reduce head-room at the already tapered B-pillar height...

I'm 6'0 and I fit in the back seat.

so you have detachable legs, then?

Haha, no, just used to cramming into tiny car spaces. I have ridden in the backseat of a Nissan Pulsar, Driven a CRX, a Miata, and a Ford Aspire. I find the interior of a Fiat 500 to be roomy, the front seat anyway. I once took a road trip for 6 hours in the backseat of a second gen Mitsubishi Eclipse.
